VBS in July

Vacation Bible School will be July 9-13th this year 2012 A.D.
 
Start praying for how you should be involved in this important ministry this summer, and for the children who will attend. 
 
Darlene and Charlene are organizing VBS this summer, and will be looking for lots of enthusiastic volunteerenes!

Saturday, February 18th at 5:30 p.m.
Cost:  $7.00 per adult, $5.00 per child
 
includes: 
Food:  meal with beverage
Entertainment:  comedy clip
Devotional:  tests for the heart
Crafts:  Valentine crafts for kids
Games:  BUNCO BUNCO BUNCO
 
sign up with Darlene or Jan by Feb 12th, at Pioneer clubs, on Sundays, or in the church office (so many ways to make sure you have a place at this fun event!)

Well, a new year, onwards to more church family fun.  Let me know what's coming up!  Pioneer clubs continued January 11th, youth group is on-going weekly, grownups have their own group which is meeting Wednesday during all the kids' activities.  Come join us!
 
Annual meeting January 29th:  join us to address those things that pertain to the life of our church: election of officers and board/committee members; the budget (everyone should have one, and that definitely includes churches!); the ESIT team's report.  Come prepared to stay a while...12 noon to, oh, 2 pm or so... but bring dessert to supplement the meal which shall be provided, along with your positive attitude and your love for the church's work.  You can check out the ESIT report here (password from the office necessary):   https://sites.google.com/a/oberlinchurch.org/esit/ 
 
If a regular Oberliner, looking at this website, says to themself, "I could do that", the webmaster would be happy to pass along this particular church communication function after three years or so in the job, and maybe you have better brighter ideas than I do...  Contact me if you're interested.
